We’re excited to offer you a 3 days 2 nights desert tour from Marrakech to Fez via Merzouga Sahara desert! The tour will begin with us picking you up in Marrakech in the morning and driving through the Atlas mountains, passing the Tizi N’Tichka which is around 2260 meters high, providing breathtaking views of the mountain landscape. Along the way, we’ll visit Berber villages and meet local families living in the high Atlas.
Our next stop will be at the UNESCO World Heritage site in Ait Ben Haddou, famous for being the filming location of many movies such as Lawrence of Arabia and The Gladiator. After visiting the kasbah, we’ll stop for lunch at a nearby restaurant before continuing to Ouarzazate, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the Taourirt studios.
We’ll then continue our journey to the Dades Gorges, passing through the Skoura palms and the Rose Valley in M’gouna canyon. We’ll take a return from the main road and ascend through the Dades Valley to reach our hotel for the night. Along the way, we’ll make a few stops to admire the beautiful scenery and unique rock formations, such as the Monkey’s foot.
Once we arrive at the hotel, you’ll have the chance to relax and spend the night in a traditional kasbah, hotel or riad in Dades Gorges. We hope you’ll enjoy this magical experience!
After savoring a delicious local breakfast, we’ll continue our journey towards the Todra Gorge, where we’ll marvel at the immensity of the canyon, stroll around its picturesque surroundings, and capture beautiful pictures and stories to cherish. Our next destination is to the south, passing through Berber villages such as Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, where you can admire the stunning landscapes of the Saharan oasis Tafilalet.
Finally, we’ll arrive at the most exciting destination of our 3-day tour from Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga Sahara desert – the Erg Chebbi. Here, your charming camels will be waiting for you to embark on an unforgettable camel ride through the Sahara desert. As we journey towards the luxury campsite, you’ll enjoy mesmerizing views of the sunset in the midst of the desert. Meanwhile, our 4×4 car will transport your luggage to the campsite.
Upon arrival at the campsite, you’ll check into a comfortable tent that includes a bathroom and shower, allowing you to refresh and rest before dinner time. For lunch, we will stop in Midelt before driving through the Atlas Mountains with its Cedar forests, visiting the Berber towns of Imouzzar and Ifran, known as the Moroccan Switzerland, and enjoying the scenery with several stops along the way to explore the culture of Morocco and take pictures. After marveling at all the stunning landscapes on our journey from the Merzouga Sahara desert, we will arrive in Fes in the afternoon.
