Our 5 days from Marrakech to Fes Desert Tour will start in the morning after breakfast. We will pick you up and drive towards Ouarzazate, passing through the beautiful landscape of Tizi N’Tichka in the high Atlas mountains, which has an altitude of around 2260 meters. During the drive, you will have the opportunity to visit Berber villages along the way before arriving at Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. This Berber castle is famous for being the location of many films, including Tea in the Sahara, The Mumy, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia, and Prince of Persia. After visiting the Kasbah, we will head to Ouarzazate central to visit Taourirt kasbah and the cinema studio. Ouarzazate is also known as the Hollywood of Africa. Later, we will check in to your hotel/riad where you will spend the night.
On the second day of our 5 day Morocco tour from Marrakech to Fes via Sahara desert, we will begin our day with a delicious breakfast at your accommodation. Our first stop of the day will be at Skoura, where we will visit the beautiful kasbah of Amredhyle and the palm groves. Next, we will head to the Roses Valley and have a refreshing cup of tea with the nomads. We will then visit another kasbah, the Ait Youl Kasbah. Afterward, we will continue on to the Dades Gorge, where we will have lunch. You will have free time in the afternoon to enjoy the stunning beauty of the Dades Valley and take a walk around. In the evening, a delicious dinner awaits you at the hotel/riad in Dades Gorge.
After having breakfast in your hotel/riad, we will begin our journey towards Merzouga, located in the Sahara desert. On the way, we will make a stop at Erfoud to explore the local fossils workshop. Then, we will reach the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where you will meet your friendly camels who will take you to the desert camp for an unforgettable overnight stay. While crossing the dunes, we will have several stops to admire the mesmerizing sunset views. After having dinner, we will kick off our enjoyable party night at the campsite by playing drums and dancing around the fire before heading to your comfortable tent. That concludes our day.
On this day, you are in for a special treat as we embark on a dunes tour right after you return from the desert camp. We’ll start the trip by visiting the Berber nomads, getting to know their lifestyle, and having a cup of tea with them. Along the way, we’ll make stops at some breathtaking panoramic places, including Glb Nass. We’ll then continue to explore M’ifiss before heading to Khamlia to see the Gnawa people and listen to their music.
Afterwards, we’ll head back to your accommodation for lunchtime. In the afternoon, you’ll have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the dunes. You’ll spend the night in Merzouga.
Today marks the final day of our Morocco tour. After breakfast, we will depart from Merzouga and drive to Rissani to visit the traditional souk. We will then continue our journey towards Fez, making stops at various beautiful locations along the way. These stops will include Errachidia in Ziz Valley, which is known for its stunning panoramic views of the palm groves. Next, we will pass through the Middle Atlas town of Medilt, where we will stop for lunch. After lunch, we will continue on to Azrou to visit the cedar forests and see the adorable monkeys. The last stop before arriving in Fez is Ifrane, often referred to as the Switzerland of Africa, where we will have the chance to explore the city. Finally, we will reach Fez and drop you off at your hotel/riad or preferred destination, bringing an end to our 5 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes.
