Join us on a captivating 1 Day excursion from to the scenic Ourika Valley, from Marrakech. Our adventure begins at 9:00 AM as we embark on a guided drive across the Houz Plains. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at a local Argan oil cooperative, where you can witness the extraction process of this precious liquid gold.
Continuing our journey, we’ll follow the road to Tnin Ourika, home to one of the largest Berber Souks in the area. This bustling market is where villagers from the Ourika Valley gather weekly to buy and sell their goods.
Next, we’ll drive deeper into the Ourika Valley, following the stream until we reach the Berber village of Setti Fatma. This village is a popular summer retreat for locals from Marrakech, seeking respite from the heat and enjoying the shade of the walnut trees. For those interested in exploring the valley on foot, local hiking guides are available for hire to lead you to stunning cascades. If you prefer a more leisurely day, you can relax at one of the cafés, savoring a delicious lunch while listening to the soothing sound of the stream.
In the afternoon, we’ll make our way back to Marrakech, concluding our 1-day excursion to the Ourika Valley. We’ll drop you off at your hotel or Jaama el Fna, marking the end of our journey together.
