Join us on a fascinating day trip from Fes to Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue City or Blue Town. This charming city, nestled in the Rif Mountains, is renowned for its sky-blue painted streets and traditional buildings. We’ll pick you up from your Riad or hotel in Fes and embark on a scenic 3.5-hour drive through the beautiful Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen.

Once we arrive, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the enchanting Medina with its narrow winding alleys, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and savor the delightful aromas and flavors of freshly baked bread and skillfully prepared tagines. Don’t miss the impressive Kasbah located in the heart of the old quarter, surrounded by lush gardens that provide a refreshing oasis. Inside the Kasbah, you’ll find a museum housing a collection of old weapons, photographs of the city, and textiles.

Take a leisurely stroll through the medina, marveling at the white and blue washed walls that give Chefchaouen its distinctive character. You’ll also have the chance to browse the local markets and discover unique handicrafts. After exploring the city and enjoying a delicious lunch, we’ll make our way back to Fes, where our day trip excursion comes to an end at your hotel or Riad.
