We dedicated the day to exploring the ancient city of Fez, strolling along its historic streets and narrow alleyways. Our journey began at the Royal Palace gate, followed by a visit to the first Mellah (Jewish Quarter) ever built in Morocco. Led by our knowledgeable guide, we ensured that we visited all the culturally and historically significant sites, including the renowned Al Qaraouine University, the vibrant Tanneries, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the fascinating Attarine museum. After a relaxing lunch break, we continued our exploration, reaching a vantage point that offered a panoramic view of the entire medina. We then returned to our hotel, where we spent the night, ready for the adventures of the following days
After breakfast, we’ll embark on our journey to Merzouga to witness the mesmerizing Sahara desert. Our first stop will be Ifrane, also known as the Switzerland of Africa.
