Day 1 : visit casablanca - meknes - fes

On the first day of our 6 days Morocco tour from Casablanca Desert tour, we will pick you up from your accommodation and begin our sightseeing journey in Casablanca. From there, we will travel to Fez through the cities of Rabat and Meknes. Along the way, we will make several stops to discover the cultural sights of each city. In Rabat, we will explore landmarks such as the Hassan Tower, the Mechouar of the Royal Palace, and the ruins of Chellah. In Meknes, we will see the impressive “Bab Mansur” gate, which is considered the finest gate in the city. Before arriving in Fez, we will also visit the historical Roman town of Volubilis, located between Meknes and Fez. Here, you can explore the town’s rich history and take pictures with its ancient walls. Finally, we will arrive in Fez where you will spend the night at a hotel or riad.

On the fourth day of our 6-day tour comes to Merzouga, we will start our adventure around the dunes after breakfast. We’ll take our car to Khamlia, where you will have the opportunity to visit the Gnawa people and learn about their culture and lifestyle, as well as listen to their traditional Gnawa music. From there, we will continue to the other side of the dunes, where a nomadic family lives in tents. Here, you will have a unique experience of their daily life, including learning about their traditional ways of cooking. Our lunch today will be a local meal, known as “pizza Berber,” which we will enjoy under the tent of a Berber family.

After lunch, we will continue our dunes tour, heading to the camels waiting for you to take you on a journey to the desert camp, guided by a camel man. Along the way, we will stop at the middle of the dunes to watch the spectacular sunset over the Sahara desert.

Upon arriving at the desert camp, you will be welcomed with a delicious Moroccan tea and check into your luxury tent, with your luggage transported by car to the camp. If you arrive early, feel free to take the sandboard available at the camp and have some fun in the golden sands. After dinner at the main restaurant of the camp, the party will begin, with rhythms of drums and dancing around the fire, making for an unforgettable night. Finally, you can relax in your comfortable tent, getting ready for the adventures of the next day.

Day 5 : merzouga - rissani - todra gorges - ziz valley

Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to capture some unforgettable moments with your camera, as we’ll make a stop in Kalaat M’Gouna, the capital of roses, where you can shop for rosewater.

Next, we’ll head to Ouarzazate to visit the famous Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which is the largest kasbah in Morocco. Built in the 18th century by one of the last Berber chieftains, El Glaoui, many members of the Glaoui family still reside in the kasbah.

After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Marrakech via the High Atlas Mountains, with a stop at some Berber villages where you can witness the traditional process of making argan oil by local women.
